Kristen Holmes Winn Coaching Experience Kristen is the Head Coach at Princeton University. She is also Head Coach for the US Field Hockey NJ/PA Elite Performance Training Center. The team won the National Championship in 2007. Kristen served as head coach of the U16 USA National Team from 2000-2003 & 2005. As an assistant coach at The University of Iowa from 1998-2000, she helped guide the Hawkeyes to the NCAA Final Four in ’99. Additionally, Kristen has served as a selector and coach at US National Team Trial Camps (A & B) dating back to 2000. In 2002, Kristen was sponsored by the US Field Association to attend the FIH Coach Course in Cologne, Germany. Playing Experience In 2005, Kristen competed in the Pan-American games as a member of the U.S. Women’s Indoor National Team. In July of 2005, Kristen competed in the Champion’s Challenge in Virginia Beach as a member of the U.S. Women’s Sr. National Team. Prior to that event, she was a member of the U.S. Women’s Sr. National Team from ’94-2000 and was also an alternate on the ’96 US Olympic Team. As a 3 time All-American at the University of Iowa, Kristen led the Hawkeyes to 3 NCAA Final Four appearances. In ’97, she played in the English Premier Hockey League with Olton Terraquest. |
